In the center is a 1910 calendar in red-brown with a frame of entwined branches. At the top and at each side are sprigs of holly withe berries. Below the calendar in gold letters is "Compliments of/ J. R. SHELTON/DRUGGIST/Woodland, Calif." The rim of the plate has a gold band. Printed in dark green on the back is "Dresden China" and a logo.
